| Deacon is a male that we produced that was placed on a co-ownership. Unfortunately, the co-ownership contract was not fulfilled, and Deacon was placed with new owners as a pet. According to my agreement with the original co-owner, Deacon was supposed to be neutered before finding him a new home. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Since the original contract and the second agreement were not fulfilled, Deacon is unavailable for public stud, and any pups sired out of him will not be recognized by my kennel or any registry. They will also not have any type of health guarantee, nor will I give out any information on him.
I appreciate the fact that Deacon seems to be in a better home now, but breeding is a huge responsibility and should not be taken lightly. Getting a dog for free as a pet and then turning around and trying to make money off of him is not a responsible thing to do, and it can have huge ramifications for this breed that I love so much. If you are going to breed, please do your research first. There are way too many unwanted dogs out there already.
